Oana A. David, Ph.D.
Oana David is Director of the International Coaching Institute, Babes-Bolyai University and Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Oana David worked previously both as internal Human Resources Consultant (Intesa Sanpaolo Bank) and external HR consultant (HILL International) and has coordinated various performance management, organizational development and coaching projects. She has completed training, internships and research fellowship programs in the field of cognitive-behavioral coaching, psychotherapy and psychological counseling at Albert Ellis Institute, NY, USA; Centre for Coaching, UK; King’s College London, Institute of Psychiatry, UK; Laboratories of Cognitive Neurosciences, Harvard Medical School, Children's Hospital Boston. Her interests are in developing innovative psychological tools in order to optimize two of the most valued areas of our lives: working and parenting. She is specialized in personal and executive coaching, parenting coaching, performance management, stress management and well-being coaching. She currently conducts research projects investigating emotion-regulation mechanisms relevant for the workplace, brain correlates of emotion-regulation, and efficacy of technology based coaching (i.e., online, using robotic devices, Virtual Reality procedures). |
Loana Comsa, M.A.
Loana Comsa is a psychologist specialized in clinical psychology, psychological counseling, and coaching, accredited by the Romanian Board of Psychologists and a Member of British Psychological Society, Counselling Devision. She is also a PhD student at the Evidence-based psychological assessment and interventions Doctoral School, Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Babeş – Bolyai University, Cluj – Napoca. Her experience as a manager and coming from an entrepreneurial environment qualifies her as a good coach or counselor for managers and entrepreneurs. |
Cristina Lorint, M.A.

Cristina Lorint is a psychologist and trainer. She graduated from the Master of Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Psychotherapy Program at Babeş-Bolyai University and is currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Psychodiagnostics and Scientifically Validated Psychological Interventions, UBB. Professional expertise includes soft skills and technical trainings, coaching and e-learning platforms and tools. Interest in coaching comes from the passion for learning in adults and from the experience as a trainer. As an IACBC team member, she is the coordinator of the volunteer team. |
Silviu-Andrei Matu, Ph.D.
Silviu Matu received a M.A. in “Clinical psychology, counseling and psychotherapy” from Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, followed by a Ph.D. in the Doctoral School “Evidence-based assessment and psychological interventions”. His research interests are grounded in the field of cognitive clinical sciences, and his focus is on the efficiency of different emotional regulations strategies and the cognitive processes that sustain them. He is certified as a clinical psychologist under supervision by the Psychologists’ College of Romania and as a trainer by the National Authority for Qualifications. As a member of the International Coaching Institute he has been involved in several projects related to professional skills training for psychologists and managerial coaching abilities for middle level managers. |
Adrian Opre, Ph.D.
Adrian Opre is professor at the Psychology Department, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He has a Ph.D. in psychology and is currently teaching courses concerning applications of cognitive psychology in education, work/organizational and clinical domains. He has nationally and internationally recognized theoretical and practical knowledge in cognitive-behavioral interventions. He is also a cognitive-behavior therapist and supervisor, certified by: Albert Ellis Institute (New York, USA), The National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists (USA), The Romanian Federation of Psychotherapy (FRP), and The Romanian Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapies (APCCR). Adrian Opre is professional psychologist and supervisor certified by the Romanian Board of Psychologists and trainer certified by the Romanian National Center for Adult Professional Training. In addition, he is trainer and director in several professional training programs: Rational emotive and behavioral education; New perspectives: the development of emotional intelligence; Magister: vocational counseling and guidance. |
Simona Stefan, Ph.D.
Simona Ștefan is lecturer at Babes-Bolyai University. She conducted her PhD in Evidence-based psychological assessment and interventions Doctoral School, at Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Babeş – Bolyai University, Cluj–Napoca. Her main interests in the field of coaching are related to life coaching, stress management, communication processes but also personal development and well being in organizational contexts. Currently her particular interested are directed to ways of promoting positive emotions, values and strengths in institutions. |
Alexandru Zorila, M.A.
Alexandru Zorilă is clinical psychologist, certified cognitive-behavioral coach and member of IACBC association. He graduated from the Master of Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Psychotherapy Program at Babeş-Bolyai University and is currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Psychodiagnostics and Scientifically Validated Psychological Interventions, UBB. The area of specialization includes psychological assessment and intervention, using the newest scientific validated instruments and strategies. Interest in coaching comes from the previous profession of civil engineer, a profession where he worked in companies with more than 100 employees as site construction engineer. He is now doing research on the implications of positive emotions in leadership and team performance. |
